HaloTherapy, also known as Salt Therapy, is a holistic approach that mimics the microclimate of a salt cave. We have Himalayan Salt Panels in our Yoga Studio and Spa Suite. These ancient salt blocks are mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan, at the base of the Himalayan mountains. There are many touted health benefits, such as purifying the air and boosting mood, due to the negative ions present (similar to how relaxed you might feel when in nature).
Our private spa suite has a HaloTherapy generator, which utilizes a liquid saline mixture of micronized salt particles. These crystals are vaporized and dispersed into the air at a passive, low concentration. This salt is 99.99% pure sodium chloride (pharmaceutical-grade salt) and contains no fillers or caking agents. It comes from a natural source and is naturally processed to remove all impure elements. It is the same salt that hospitals use and the same type used in HaloTherapy research.
The average person breathes 17,000 to 21,000 times each day. Your lungs are living air purifiers continuously under attack from each breath consisting of allergens, bacteria, pollen, pollutants, toxins, and particles.
Worldwide, based on European/Russian clinical studies and US pilot studies, thousands of people have successfully improved their breathing and achieved natural symptom relief using HaloTherapy to:
HaloTherapy is recognized as a safe and effective wellness practice for preventive and restorative health care, though it is not a medical treatment and does not offer cure.
There are typically no side effects other than the taste of salt and potentially thirst or a scratchy throat. However, if someone is on any medications or suffers from any serious medical issue, please seek medical advice before any therapy.
HaloTherapy is not recommended for people with:
*Pregnant women should consult with their doctor before using HaloTherapy.
*Anyone with serious health concerns must seek proper medical advice and care.
