Please don't hesitate to reach out to us, if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We have an incredible team of certified teachers with diverse yogic backgrounds. Most of our classes are based on Hatha, Raja, and Vinyasa yoga styles. These classes focus on connecting your breath with your movements, emphasizing meditation and energetic balance. We intend to help you achieve harmony in your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies and integrate that balance into your daily life.
Classes are infused with various techniques (kriyas) to accelerate physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual growth and healing. These techniques include yoga postures (asanas), breath-work (pranayama), meditation (dhyāna), sacred sounds and chanting (Sanskrit mantras), and spiritual hand gestures (mudras).
You'll also see classes on the schedule, such as Kundalini, Yin, and Restorative.
Remember that it doesn't matter where you are on your yoga journey; we all come to the mat with different levels of strength, flexibility, and balance, even day to day! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned yogi, we want you to enjoy a safe and comfortable practice.
We understand that sometimes you may experience pain or discomfort during a pose, and that's okay! We encourage you to adjust your posture or take a break if needed. This practice is not about being perfect; it's about being present and finding peace of mind.
In our classes, we incorporate various elements of yoga, including Sanskrit chants, meditation, mindfulness, and breathing exercises, to help you experience the full benefits of yoga. We believe breathwork, or pranayama, is an essential part of yoga, so we encourage you to focus on your breath as you move through each pose.
We have a NEW STUDENT SPECIAL, 21 days of unlimited yoga for $49. This is the perfect way to try as many classes as possible to see what works best for you and your schedule!
Here's a comprehensive guide to the science of Yogasanas and how you can go deeper into your practice!

You can easily book online for services such as Infrared Sauna and BioMat.
For one-on-one services, such as acupuncture, massage therapy, reiki, astrology, sound healing, etc, it is best to email: support@saltarahealing.com
All you need is a yoga mat. We have mats and props for use and sale if you need them.
Wear breathable fabrics that allow for comfortable movement. Clothes that are too loose may bunch up, while clothes that are too tight may be too restricting.
It is best not to eat 1-2 hours before a yoga class. Additionally, drinking plenty of water before and after class is recommended, but try to avoid drinking during practice. According to Ayurveda, yoga helps the body build the digestive fire necessary to break down food, and drinking during practice can quench that fire.
Before entering the yoga studio, there is an area in reception to leave your shoes, phone, keys, coats, etc. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Please inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any physical limitations, injuries, or medical conditions BEFORE CLASS so that they can help you with posture variations or use props. Likewise, please let the instructor know if you prefer to avoid receiving any hands-on assistance.
Please keep in mind the following guidelines when arriving for your scheduled class or appointment:
1. Arrival Time: Arriving at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled class or appointment is best to allow time to destress and settle in. There may be forms to fill out, especially on your first visit.
2. Check-In: When you arrive at the studio, please check in at the front desk so we know who has arrived and whom we’re still expecting.
3. Class Timing: Please be sure you can attend the entire class and avoid leaving early. If you must, please let the instructor know before class starts if you need to leave early. Please never leave class DURING savasana (the final relaxation period at the end of class). But we do encourage you to take a mini-savasana beforehand you have to head out!
4. Cell Phones: Please leave your cell phone on silent and outside the yoga classroom so you can fully disconnect. If, for some reason, this is not possible (for example, if you have children that may need to reach you), please keep it on silent next to you.
5. Mindfulness: As you enter the yoga studio, other students may meditate or rest before class starts. Please quietly unroll your mat and grab any props you need.
We make sure to maintain a clean and hygienic environment in our studio. We use botanical cleaners that are proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses to clean our studio, props, common areas, and equipment. Additionally, we regularly use incense and essential oils that have antibacterial and antiviral properties.
To ensure that our studio's air is free from harmful particulates, we run Intellipure Virus Air Purification Systems in each room. These systems capture particulates 40 times smaller than HEPA filters, making them the most efficient virus air purifier.
We have also invested in the best surface and space sterilizer: The Sterile-Bright system uses patented Ultraviolet + Ozone technology proven to neutralize 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores quickly.
We are committed to providing our community with a safe and healthy environment. Please also take necessary precautions to keep yourself and others safe:
We appreciate your continued cooperation, consideration, and understanding!
Please take note of our class and service cancellation policies:
Please note that we reserve our practitioner's time and space in these rooms for you, and we intend to go above and beyond your expectations to provide the best service possible. If you do not show up for your appointment or class or cancel after the required notice period, we will redeem prepaid classes, appointments, and no-shows in full. We may have someone on the waitlist who will miss out or a practitioner who has to travel and prepare for your session beforehand. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policies!

If you are pregnant and your healthcare provider has given you the green light to practice yoga, it's recommended that you arrive early to your class and inform the teacher of the stage of your pregnancy and any additional concerns. This will allow the instructor to help you with different posture variations and/or assist you with using props, ensuring you have a safe and comfortable practice.
During pregnancy, your body produces a hormone called Relaxin, which loosens all the joints and ligaments to prepare your body for birth. This can make you feel more flexible, but it also means that you may overstretch, be much more sore than usual afterward, or even risk injury. Therefore, it's important to take gentle movements and not push yourself too far into any posture.
If you have never practiced yoga before or have minimal experience, attending prenatal yoga classes might be the best option for you. These routines are gentle and designed specifically for expectant mothers.
If you already have an established yoga practice, many postures are safe to continue, while others may need to be modified or avoided. Here are some postures to avoid or modify while pregnant:
We usually follow the Warwick Valley school closures, which are determined by the local transportation staff, police, and district leaders. If there are any changes, we will promptly send out a newsletter and/or post on social media.
